North West to remain resilient despite CSR cuts

 Speaking at a pro.manchester event yesterday, Thursday, Mark Lawrie, the national head of local and regional government for Deloitte said the region should not fear the tough messages delivered by Whitehall.

He added: “The North West is well positioned with innovative projects and leaders already in place. It is a chance for us to demonstrate to the rest of the country that our region is agile and resilient and will succeed despite the cuts.

“Innovation will be key. Perceiving the need to change service delivery models as an opportunity, rather than a risk, will enable the professional services community to help their clients weather the storm more effectively.

This pro.manchester event, hosted by Addleshaw Goddard, was the first in a series of public sector discussion groups.
