A SERIES of workshops will be held in Manchester to help local companies get ready to secure investment. The Investment Ready workshops have been organised by Business Link Northwest in partnership with pro-manchester and are targeted at companies looking for help in preparing to access finance.
The workshops will be delivered by finance experts from Manchester’s professional and financial services community. Gaynor Dykes, manager of the Access to Finance service at Business Link Northwest, said: “Securing funding, either by way of debt or equity finance, can be fundamental to business success and in supporting growth opportunities. “These interactive workshops will offer advice and guidance from corporate finance experts to enable businesses to be better prepared to secure investment.” Adele Edgar, Skills & Education manager at pro-manchester said “Access to finance is incredibly important and this is a great way to help entrepreneurs in Greater Manchester. We look forward to working with Business Link and engaging with as many people as possible during the delivery of these workshops” The workshop series is made up of four sessions which will cover business planning, understanding finance and accounts, different types of debt and equity products, pitching and presenting and also the potential legal implications regarding finance offers. The first workshop session begins on the 29th of September, followed by the 6th, 13th and 20th of October.
