Do Manchester professionals have what it takes? Manchester’s professionals are being challenged to prove their flair for business as, this Thursday, future pro·manchester launches its Entrepreneurship Challenge.The organisation, which represents tomorrow’s leaders in the regional financial and professional market, is hosting a season of entrepreneurial events this autumn, with a line-up including iTeddy inventor, Imran Hakim, Steve Purdham of Surf Control and We7 fame, and business consultant Andy Bounds, to name but a few. The challenge launches at the future pro·manchester summer barbecue this Thursday at Atlas Bar, for a sizzling start to the organisation’s entrepreneurship season. Manchester’s budding entrepreneurs from the professional community will be invited to enter the official competition, which includes a series of written challenges throughout the autumn. Entries will be judged by a panel of business experts. Only the most promising entrepreneurs will face the interview panel for a grilling to test their ability to think on their feet. The overall winner of the challenge will be crowned future pro·manchester Entrepreneur of the Year at a celebratory cocktail event in Manchester this December.
