Describe your day job
I aim to arrive in work for 7.15am so I have time to study any company announcements that have been released that morning and therefore I am prepared for when the stock market opens at 8am. Once the stock market is open, I execute any transactions that are urgent. At 8.30am we listen to the internal morning meeting where our analysts comment on company and economic news. The remainder of the day involves discussing investments with clients over the telephone, client meetings, buying and selling shares on behalf of clients, reviewing client portfolios, producing new investment proposals and keeping track of any important news released that day.
