A groundbreaking Innovation Award is looking to celebrate some of Greater Manchester’s most forward-thinking and dynamic businesses. The Innovation Award is the brainchild of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and PR agency Weber Shandwick and is being supported by Brother UK, Manchester: Knowledge Capital and TheBusinessDesk.com The award is being spearheaded by Dr. Moneeb Awan, President of Greater Manchester Chamber and himself an award-winning entrepreneur with a passion for thinking outside the box and embracing new technologies to help deliver business growth. The award is not dependent on business size, turnover or track record of previous award wins – entries can be submitted by multi-national organisations, small start-ups or family run businesses. You don’t even have to be a member of Greater Manchester Chamber to enter – the award is open to all. The organisers want to hear from businesses with a great story to tell, that have innovative thinking at the root of their success. Award entries can be submitted now and anytime until Friday 28th May 2010, by logging onto www.gmchamber.co.uk/innovation - designed with simplicity in mind and for those with a busy schedule, entering takes less time than a typical tea break.
