The Marketing Clinic, a new PR and digital marketing agency with offices in Manchester and Bolton, has been unveiled by Richard Lynch, former director of business development at Paver Smith, and GMTV’s former northern correspondent, Elaine Willcox.

marketingclinicThe Marketing Clinic launches with a trio of new clients including GB Energy Ltd, Velden Engineering (UK) Ltd and training provider Alliance Learning.

GB Energy recognised The Marketing Clinic’s specialist broadcast skills and appointed them to launch its online TV channel to report its sports stadia energy saving news.

Velden Engineering have commissioned the agency to review its marketing communications and trade PR as it seeks to exploit an upsurge in manufacturing orders.

Alliance Learning have hired the firm to host its annual awards evening in March 2011.

Lynch, who orchestrated the high-profile Hire-A-Hero campaign while Paver Smith, said:

“I don’t feel the traditional agency offers consistent value for money as it doesn’t allow senior people to work shoulder to shoulder with clients on a regular basis. The figures simply don’t add up.

“We operate using solely senior resource; long-standing marketing and public relations specialists who have built and sold agencies or who are hungry to do things differently.

“With us, clients get to work with senior and experienced teams.”

Willcox added:

“I’ve spent the last twenty years taking calls from PRs with stories which are often misleading, boring or simply don’t make sense.

“Our video news releases will always tell a story and have journalistic integrity or they won’t get done.”

The agency is an active player in Pro Manchester’s new healthcare group and will target healthcare businesses, manufacturing companies, professional services firms and entrepreneurs.
