“Manchester Celebrates Jaguar” takes place during the entire month of May to raise awareness of the new family of Jaguar cars across Greater Manchester.

Jaguar has chosen Manchester to pilot the experiential marketing campaign, through advertising, social media and sponsorship of major events taking place across Manchester during the month including pro.manchester’s  very own Annual Dinner to be held on Thursday 13th May at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester. Jaguar is also producing a special film to celebrate 50 years of the E-type Jaguar. The short film is being directed on location in Cheshire by Derrrick Borte, the director of “The Joneses”, the soon-to-be-released film starring Demi Moore and David Duchovny, and will be shown across Manchester throughout May.

Ride and Drives will be operating from Spinningfields on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm during May, with the opportunity to drive the XKR, XFR and the XF. You can also take an accompanied drive in the brand new XJ. Test drives must be pre-booked and are subject to Jaguar test drive terms and conditions.  pro.manchester members have an exclusive Ride and Drive day on Friday, 21st May, to coincide with the future pro.manchester breakfast discussion group with the designers from Jaguar on Friday, 21st May. 

The programme of Jaguar activities culminates at a special Jaguar Family Fun Day at Tatton Park.

Taking place on Sunday, 30th May from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm, three giant marquees will house fun for all the family including face painters, a soft play area for young children, arts and crafts area where children can design a car and win a prize, Wii gaming, giant games, circus skills workshop, archery, falconry display, climbing wall, cookery demo by celebrity chef Aiden Byrne, brass band, duck herding and much more.

Take part in the Jaguar Treasure Hunt to win great prizes and pre-book a test drive in one of the new family of Jaguars or just come along to admire the timeless styling of the old classics on display. There will also be a charity carwash for Jaguar drivers in aid of the NSPCC.
