The Manson Insurance Group, which incorporates Manson Insurance Brokers and Manson Warner Healthcare, will trade as Jelf Manson from 1 October 2010. The move is a significant step in the growth and integration plans of both businesses since they were acquired by Jelf Group plc in 2008.

Jelf Manson’s insurance business will be led by Mike Latham, Managing Director of Manson Insurance. The health and wellbeing division will be headed up by Jason Britton, Executive Director of Manson Warner Healthcare. United under one name, both business will be well placed to boost their presence not only in the Manchester market but throughout the wider Northern region.

According to Mike, “Both Manson and Jelf are committed to providing a first class service for our clients. We are passionate about being, and remaining, a community broker. Becoming more closely aligned with Jelf will enable us to make the most of our scale, our specialisms and our expertise which will benefit our clients. This is a hugely positive step forward.”

Manson Insurance Group was founded by Jon Manson in 1971. Manson Warner Healthcare was founded by Jon Manson and Graeme Warner in 1988. The company recently moved to modernised offices in the Spinningfields area of Manchester.
