The Manchester corporate team of international law firm Pinsent Masons has advised on transactions exceeding half a billion in the month of July alone. The team have capped a busy year in 2011 with a fantastic month.
Highlights from July include:
- Advised Redefine International plc on its reverse takeover with Wichford P.L.C. in a transaction worth in excess of £300 million. - Acting for CBPE and the sellers on the £148 million sale of the Knowsley head quartered mineral testing business Stewart Group to Campbell Brothers in Australia. - Acting for ISIS Equity Partners (ISIS) and management on the sale of GettingPersonal.co.uk to Card Factory. - Completing two transactions for Enterprise Ventures, the MBO of WSP-IMC and Vickers Electronics. - A major European utility on the acquisition of a wind farm.
