pro.manchester members help SME clients apply to join 10,000 Small Businesses pro.manchester members are invited to share news with ambitious small business clients about how to apply to join 10,000 Small Businesses. The Goldman Sachs programme, delivered in the North West by Manchester Metropolitan University, is a prestigious business and management curriculum designed by world-class experts for small firms with scalable growth potential. Places are funded by The Goldman Sachs Foundation applications close July 29th. The North West 10,000 Small Businesses programme starts November 2011. In addition to Business and Management Education, this global programme from the Goldman Sachs Foundation, delivers: o Specialist workshops - Delivered by local business experts, o One-to-One Business Advising - Support that translates the curriculum sessions into actions for your own tailored Growth Plan o Access to Capital - Connecting you with opportunities to understand and access finance for your growth o Alumni Services - To expand your local and international network and develop lasting and valuable business relationships Time commitment o All participants will be asked to make a significant time commitment to the course. Participants will need to attend 12 sessions as well as approximately 6 hours between each curriculum session to apply what they learn in their business and develop a growth plan. Please note, that there only 25 places are available in the North West, and places on this funded course are highly sought after, so early registration by July 29th is recommended. Eligibility This cross sector programme has been designed specifically to support North West business leaders who: • run a business or commercially-focussed social enterprise that has been trading for at least 12 months • employ between 5 to 40 staff • run a business that is scalable and poised for growth Eligible business and social enterprises can register their interest at http://www.mmucfe.co.uk/services/providing/10000-small-businesses/ |
