Review of the Year: CENBAR

In 2011 pro.manchester established CENBAR, the Centre for business angels research in association with the pro.manchester Business Angels Network (BANG) and the three business schools of Greater Manchester.

Business schools from Manchester University, MMU and Salford University are all engaged in the project to stimulate innovation and enterprise in the city.

The objectives of CENBAR are to raise the profile of business angel investment in Manchester, to increase connectivity with high net worth individuals, pension funds and family trusts and to assist in the process of linking innovation and enterprise to advice and finance.
