Sector Focused year for pro.manchester

In 2011 pro·manchester focused more than ever on growing the sector presence of our members and five sector groups were set up as part of our corporate outreach programme.

The groups include Energy and Low Carbon, Healthcare, Public Sector, Sports Industry and Creative and Digital Industries. The groups are all designed to enhance the reputation of the financial and professional sector and provide opportunities for pro.manchester members to develop relationships with industry professionals.

Throughout 2011 pro.manchester members have worked together with the executive team to provide a variety of events addressing issues important to each sector and this work is set to continue into 2012. A series of events for each sector group has taken place including a tour of MediaCityUK and courses on SEO For Professionals, Google + and Google +1 and Keyword Advertising for Creative pro.manchester.  Looking at The Corporate spending Review, the future of regeneration and financing the future for Public Sector and a review of Football Finance and a look ahead to the Olympic Games for the Sports Industry Group.
