The brand communications agency has enjoyed steady growth this year with a nine per cent increase in gross income year-on-year and a quadrupling of net profits over the same period. A significant contributor to their success has been its membership of pro·manchester where 21 per cent of new business won over the past 18 months can be attributed to relationships harnessed through the organisation’s extensive professional network.

The agency has also enjoyed success on the awards front winning a gold and two silvers at the Transform Awards in London, beating the cream of UK branding and design talent to the accolades in the process. Earlier in the summer Tayburn also scooped the Grand Prix at the Marketing Society Northern Awards for its work in social media with Chewits.

With existing Northwest clients RSM Tenon, Princes Food and Drink Group and Chewits providing an increase in billings, aligned to a raft of new business wins over the past year that include Lancashire’s Daisy Telecoms, 2ergo, Royal London and the British Council, Tayburn is bucking the trend in what is still a challenging market place.
