A flagship new development to support business growth in Greater Manchester is being launched. Backed by pro•manchester, Manchester Solutions and the Greater Manchester Chamber, the Growth Hub will provide fast track access to information, advice and support for businesses of all sizes that have the ambition and potential to grow.  The Growth Hub will connect companies to the support that they need whether that is raising finance to support expansion, identifying and exploiting new markets, improving productivity, developing new management skills and expertise or access to specialist advice, facilities and resources.

"The Hub is about matching support to the specific growth needs and objectives of each business not assuming that one type of growth programme will be suitable for all firms"  says John Ashcroft of Pro Manchester.

"It offers our members and their customers the opportunity to access the right packages of support for growth and also opens up many prospects for our members to be involved in supporting business growth in the area".

Involving an extensive network of partners including universities, Chambers of Commerce, the Economic Solutions Group, Local Enterprise Partnerships, local authorities and many large corporates, the Growth Hub has already started operating in Greater Manchester.

"We are already recruiting businesses to a range of growth support including the Goldman Sachs Growth Programme and the Leading Enterprise and Development (LEAD) programme and are rapidly expanding the portfolio of support available through the Growth Hub", says Richard Jeffery Director of Business Support at Manchester Solutions.

The Growth Hub is establishing partnership and sponsorship arrangements with banks, accountants, lawyers and business and professional service firms as well as developing its package of growth services and support to include mentoring, master-classes, workshops, growth groups and new growth programmes.
