I am a Chartered Accountant in the Audit and Assurance department at Deloitte LLP. I work with a range of Deloitte’s high profile corporate clients based in the Northwest. My portfolio mainly comprises listed clients. As part of my progression to Senior Manager, I have spent time in Transaction Services, and as such, I also lead any transactional work on my recurring clients, which has recently been significant. I have lived in the North West all my life and grew up around Bolton. I studied French, German and Marketing at the University of Salford and spent time working for Deutsche Bank in Paris and ABB in Mannheim, Germany. As such I am fluent in both French and German. Having experienced the hectic lifestyle of Paris and the tranquillity of a sleepy German town, I really enjoy working in Manchester as it has a great balance. Manchester is full of bright and talented individuals; this is evidenced by the Future Pro Manchester Committee, which is made up of the best young professionals that Manchester, if not the country, has to offer. I would encourage all young professionals to get involved in the Future Pro Manchester events as they present an excellent opportunity to meet other young professionals which may turn into business contacts in the future. |
