Two More New Partners for JMW Leading full service law firm JMW Solicitors LLP has appointed two new Partners in response to their continued growth.
Keith Arrowsmith, Head of Intellectual Property at JMW commented: “I am delighted to join JMW as I know this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious firm. I am looking forward to heading up our Intellectual Property department and the challenge of helping to grow the team further. Mark Davies joins JMW as a Partner in the Corporate Recovery and Insolvency Department from national law firm DWF LLP where he was Partner for over 10 years. He has a national reputation for specialising in personal insolvency and has been involved in many major cases including acting for Insolvency Practitioners in reported cases. Mark also regularly speaks and chairs conferences for R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals. Richard Wolff, Head of Corporate Recovery and Insolvency at JMW said in respect of Mark’s appointment: “It is a testament to JMW’s commitment to the growth of this area of our practice that we have been able to bring on board a personal insolvency specialist of Mark’s calibre and we will look to grow the department further as our workflow continues to develop and diversify.” From a firm-wide perspective, both arrivals continue a string of high profile appointments for JMW which has seen Joy Kingsley join as Senior Partner in September 2010, Ian Tranter join as Head of Employment in January 2011, Chris Moss as Head of Corporate in May 2011 and Carl Moran join as a Partner in Employment in May 2011.

Keith Arrowsmith joins JMW as Partner and Head of Intellectual Property from Manchester based law firm Ralli Solicitors LLP, where he was Head of Intellectual Property and Media for a year having previously spent 10 years at Sheffield based commercial firm HLW. Keith specialises in all area of intellectual property and has previously provided advice for the first film produced at MediaCityUK. He has also advised the British Council regarding emerging cultural industries in Kenya and advised Nick Hornby’s charity the Ministry of Stories.
